కంప్యూటర్ సహాయంతో విద్య

ఆంధ్ర ప్రదేశ్ ప్రభుత్వం 2005-2006 సంవత్సరం వరకు 3518 పాఠశాలలలో కంప్యూటర్ సహయంతో విద్య ప్రవేశపెట్టారు. వీటిలో 2057 ప్రాధమిక, 584 ప్రాధమికోన్నత, 877 ఉన్నత పాఠశాలున్నాయి. వీటికొరకు పాఠశాలలలో కంప్యూటర్ సహాయంతో విద్య (వేయి కంప్యూటరుల ప్రాజెక్టు, ఎంపి నిధులతో ఇవ్వబడిన కంప్యూటరులు, లేదా ఇతర స్వచ్ఛంద సంస్థలచే ఇవ్వబడిన కంప్యూటరులు) , పాఠశాల వెలుపల కంప్యూటర్ సహాయంతో విద్య అనగా (దగ్గరలో కంప్యూటర్ సదుపాయంగల పాఠశాలు, లేక ఈ-సేవ కేంద్రాలు మొదలైనవి) పధకాలు వాడుతున్నారు.

Computer Aided Learning (CAL)

I)         No. of Schools covered till 2005 � 06 -     3518
  (Primary 2057, Upper Primary 584, High Schools 877)

A P Govt. Implementing the CAL programme in the following models.

i)   Off School Model : Nearest Primary, Upper Primary and High schools are attached  to the 1000 schools Computer Project, e-seva centres, MRCs.

ii)  On School Model : Schools having computers under 1000 School Project, MPLADS, SSA innovations and computers supplied by other NGOs & donors.

iii)  Classes covered :     From  III to VII.

The above mentioned total no. of schools are covered under the off school & on school models.

II)        No. of Schools to be covered during 2006 � 07 � About 1500 schools.

III)       CAL CDs Development details.

Azim Premji Foundation (APF), Bangalore developed the competency based C.Ds which are evaluated & mapped with the content of the school subjects by State Project Office, SSA, A.P., Hyderabad and used for the CAL.

IV)      

Mode of Implementation of CAL

Hardware:

i)   For CAL Prog, existing hardware is being used i.e., Govt. of A.P supplied computers to 1000 Schools covered in all 23 districts in A.P. which are implemented by the NIIT, APTECH, EVERONN.

ii)   Other Schools which come under SSA innovations, MPLADS,   e-Seva Centres, Computers supplied by other NGOs.

iii)  Teacher Training : A group of Key Resource Persons (AMOs, APOs, DIET faculty) are identified from each district and trained at the SPO, SSA, A.P., in collaboration with APF, Bangalore on various aspects for CAL implementation.  Inturn these KRPs provide training to  the teachers at district level for CAL Implementation.

V)        Details of contribution of the following organisation

Azim Premji Foundation (APF)

i)    Development of competency based C.Ds.

ii)   Preparation of training modules and training the KRPs in collaboration with  APSSA, Hyderabad.

iii)  Joint  monitoring at various levels with SPO, SSA, A.P., Hyderabad.

iv)   Research & Documentation on CAL impact study.

v)  Computer Based Assessment is used to evaluate the learning levels of the children.

VI)   Other Details

i)   Development of C.Ds on A P Specific content in Telugu Language & Social Studies for classes III to VII in collaboration with APF.

ii)   Child Developed  Projects on local specific areas.

iii)  CAL guidelines developed by APSSA, Hyderabad on various aspects of CAL implementation.

iv)   National Conference was organised on CAL at Hyderabad, A.P.
